I am helping coordinate host families for a German girls choir visiting visiting the USA this year as part of the Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp International Exchange Program from July 23 - July 27. The Pamina Girls Choir includes girls from 12-18 years old as well as a few adult chaperons and their conductor. All choir members speak fluent to moderately fluent English and bring spending money to cover their own expenses.

We are their first stop on a 5 city tour of the states. We are looking for host families for their time here in Middleville. The group will perform a concert in the Village on Friday, July 24th as part of the Middleville Summer Concert Series. Other than the concert and a get-together Sunday night, the rest of the time is spent with the host families. Past hosts have entertained their guests with a wide variety of activities ranging from visiting Lake Michigan beaches, Chicago, Michigan Adventure, and Mackinac Island to adventures closer to home like kayaking the Thornapple or shopping trips to Rivertown Mall.
Group itinerary:
July 23 (Thursday)- Arrive in Chicago and travel to Middleville to meet host families (late afternoon/evening)
July 24 (Friday) - afternoon rehearsal/evening concert @ 6:30pm
July 25 (Saturday) - Free day with host families
July 26 (Sunday) - Free day with host families, Evening group BBQ get-together - location to be determined
July 27th (Monday) - Morning departure
