Hello, I am glad that I can share a little about myself. While I grew up in Iowa, I have been teaching language arts or social studies at TKMS since 1994, and I thoroughly enjoy it. I am invested in TK as a teacher but also as a spouse and parent who lives within the district. My husband Ross graduated from TK, and our three children have graduated or currently attend TK Schools. Besides spending a lot of time at school and with my family, I am involved in many church and community activities.

Education:
B.A.- major in secondary social sciences and minor in language arts from Cornerstone University
M.A.- secondary education from Grand Valley State University

Hobbies:
reading (a variety of genres)
following various sports teams (TK, Wolverines, Tigers, Lions)
attending different fine arts performances (musicals, plays, concerts)
traveling (mainly to historical sites)
