About Mrs. Baxter:
  • I graduated from Thornapple Kellogg High School, then went on to earn Degrees from Grand Valley State University (BA) and from Western Michigan University (MA).
  • My parents and my grandparents were students at TK! Go Trojans!
  • I completed part of my student teaching abroad in Stellenbosch, South Africa.
  • I have taught in the TK district since 2007, and currently teach 7th grade language arts.
  • I am the mother of 2 children.
  • My favorite things to do are spending time with family and friends, working with and riding my horses, reading as many books as I can, and doing anything outside!  
  • I am passionate about helping students become lifelong, skilled readers and writers. I strive to learn more every day, every year, in order to best help students succeed!
